Aaron Royer and Stephen Wang met at the start up innovation agency, WP Narrative, where they created an in-house production company. From their shared experience creating in the Narrative innovation tech lab, they transferred these skills and their digital UX expertise into the real world, building award winning experiential activations from scratch. As it evolved to be the most profitable arm of the agency, each job moved them deeper into the world of experiential production. Once Narrative was acquired and streamlined it's services, Landing Gear was the logical next step for their friendship and shared passion in experiential production.
 
Aaron comes from the agency background, building his production chops at Grey and rising to SVP, Associate Director of Production where he led the transition from broadcast production to integrated content production. The next stage of his career evolved to production work intersecting the internet with the real world at top agencies and brands as a freelancer.  He came to Narrative as Chief of Content leading the innovation lab and all content production. Aaron is a graduate of William and Mary, an expert street parker, and advertising junkie.  
 
Stephen Wang, known as Swang from his email moniker, comes from the publishing side beginning his career at Global Grind.  From his initial role in new business and sales, he transitioned into design and project management. At Narrative, Swang moved from project management to production, building an award winning portfolio, and a reputation for never stopping.  A native New Yorker, Swang is a graduate of Hunter College, with successful past careers as a model, and as the rapper, Luz.
